Ask anyone who has ever slept with me (that sounds bad, but really I mean anyone who has ever slept in the same house as me) and they will tell you I am a chronic sleep talker. Usually I have fights with my sister and sometimes I even wake myself up, but the point here is that the talk is totally coherent. People have said they're going to record me but that has yet to happen....butttttt..... There's a man in England who sleep talks....a lot....and the things he says are hilarious so his wife started a blog...I highly recommend you visit it Sleep Talkin Man
On another note....Some of you may remember the 'Rehab Certificate Generator'...well, that was just for substance abuse and given the recently new publicized BS excuse of being a sex addict, I updated the certificate so there ya go Tiger and Jesse.

So some serious changes round here soon...notably I will be actually doing stuff. It's been a really hard few months, and year in general but seeing as how TSZ puts me in my happy place, I've realized I should be there more often :) In the meantime, regardless of how you feel about Obama and whether or not he should have gotten an honorary degree from Arizona State, (for the record I think honorary degrees are a load of poop) it's nice to see that the country now knows just how pitiful ASU and their "students" are. Welcome Mr. President! Regardless of your political beliefs I think we can all agree that we wish Barack the best for the next 4 years :) And the girls are cute and innocent and I hope that they stay that way. Also, I hope they get themselves a rescue dog (and for the record my mother is incredibly allergic to fur and she has 3 dogs, all rescues ;).
And since he is now one of the most important political figures in the world, I officially welcome him to The Spin Zone. Just as like the rest of D.C., he'll be living in it full time, from now on;)
You know it's no secret that I LOVE my Wildcats...So sure I'm bias when it comes to a lot of things when it involves sports. But I think we can ALL agree (and by ALL I mean most everyone except for University of Huston basketball coach Tom Penders and player Aubrey Coleman) that the 'face stomp' to AZ player Chase Budinger was not only intentional, but one of the worst displays of unsportsman like conduct college basketball has seen in a long.....LONG time. I won't go into details of what happened but you can see it:

The most disturbing part (well distubring/ridiculous) parts of this saga is that the Houston Coach besides being convinced it was a total accident, is claiming that ESPN doctored the photo.

I've got a fairly prominent learning disability which among other things, makes reading incredibly difficult for me (it's true...ask anyone who was in my high school senior English class about my 'Dick and Perry' question)... but the ONE author that I was able to read (even though it took me forever) was Michael Crichton and today he passed away...:(
Also, congrats to Barack Obama...I may not agree with all of his policies (same goes for McCain) but as an American, I support my President regardless and I for one am just glad all the election crap is over with, especially all the commercials for Prop 2 here in Cali which were the worst in the history of commercials and I wish I was back in my Persuasion 411 class in college so that I could write a paper on fear appeal theories and how this one was the worst and most damaging use of one ever......(//end rant).

This year, more than any other, I'm disgusted at everyone involved in the media (entertainers, politicians, 'journalists') and the upcoming Presidential election. If you're a celebrity then by all means, use your 'celebrity' do to good like raising money for abused children or animals...but spewing your nonsense about politics is more damaging than the actual politicians doing it themselves. It's one thing when you show your support for a candidate, but it's quite another when you do the dirty work for them by using your celebrity to try and convince the public of things that may or may not have any truth to them. Much like I think it would be retarded for a politician to release a pop song...it's equally retarded for a musician or actor to speak about public policy when the masses will actually hear it.

Well I'm off to Phoenix for a week, time to get my summer tan started and at 108 degrees with 0 chance of rain, I think I'll be in luck. Not that it's any better here in L.A...HOLY CRAP IT'S HOT AS BALLS! (I don't get that saying btw, never have...I mean why not 'hot as toes'?) Anyway, for the last 3 weeks or so I've had to park my car on the street despite the fact that I have a parking spot under our building...and here's why:
It's all good though, because there was a bee holocaust and of course, I got pictures:)

I love the smell of burning plastic in the morning...Universal Studios is on fire...and seeing as how I'm close to it...I get to smell it and apparently it's videos that are burning, hence the smell of plastic and while forest fires at least remind me of a nice romantic evening in front of a fire, this lot fire is reminding me that I won't be going outside today. Oh, and King Kong is also gone so for those of you who have been to Universal Studios and have seen that part of the ride, that entire ape monkey is burning and going up my nose.

So some Australia pics are up....I was getting them all in when it occured to me you guys probably wouldn't care bout most of the em...and I wouldn't blame you really so instead, I picked a choice few that I thought were 'everyone' interesting and not just 'me' interesting....so here you go.

Guess who?!??!?!? That's right...still alive and kickin....been a crazy time for me so yeah, TSZ suffered but there be hope for me yet ;) Actually just got back from Australia (my cousin got married) but here's the funniest thing that happened...and my sister is probably going to kill me but she's lucky to be alive given the fact that I had to sit on a plane for 20 hours with her son...who is 2...and loud. So anyway, my nephew is in the 'copying' phase right now...so he repeats whatever he hears or whatever you tell him to say. Knowing this, and being as immature as I am (and my cousins apparently) one day we had him repeating, 'Mommy Gay!....Mommy Gay!.....' over and over again and when my sister returned from wherever she was my nephew showed off his new words. Needless to say my sister was pissed as hell but I figured it was payment for having to hear him scream all the way from Singapore to Adelaide. My mom too takes me aside and gives me a lecture about how I need to 'act like a grownup' etc etc...
So by the end of the trip my sister and I had reverted back to when we were teenagers with all our arguing (well, ask anyone who knows us and they'll tell you we never really stopped...but anyhow) we were about to board the plane from Perth to Singapore and my mother had gone to look for something in the lounge and my sister gets aggravated because we're supposed to be boarding and my mom's not there so, while holding my nephew she says, 'FUCK!' well with out skipping a beat my nephew yells, 'FUCK!....FUCK!...' The look on my sister's face was priceless...especially given everyone within 10' heard including a woman sitting next to us who didn't know what to do. Now when I hear this what do I do? Well I laugh obviously...cause it's funny....and my sister is pale as a ghost and quite horrified but immediately she gets pissed at ME for laughing...because the more I laugh, the more he my nephew says it and I can't help myself from laughing cause, well, I'm immature. So she's pissed at me for 'encouraging' the behavior yada, yada yada... So we get to Singapore and we're sitting in the lounge waiting for our flight home to L.A. and I was telling my mom all about the new word my sister taught my nephew and of course this just gets my sister more mad but blah, blah blah...so mym mom can't find something and says, 'Shit''...and without skipping a beat my nephew goes, 'SHIT!...SHIT!....' and what can I do but laugh. So the more I laugh the more he repeats it and my sister and mother look horrified and get mad at ME again...for laughing because the more I laugh, the more he says it...
So I felt it necessary to point out to my mom and sister that 'Mommy Gay' doesn't sound so bad now...and I further point out that even with my potty mouth, I never got my nephew to utter a bad word...and in the span of a few hours, thanks to my sister and my mother, he had now added the words FUCK and SHIT to his limited vocabulary.
Well, there are other stories but this one makes me laugh when I'm even thinking about it so I thought I'd share...
I'm going to put up a few photos of our trip including the most amazing airport in the world...complete with a pool, spa and movie theatre so when it is up, it'll be here if ya care :)
Oh...and it's nice to be back, I've missed you all :)
